The sun, moon and stars seem to step out every evening out of their heavenly abode for a game of hide-and-seek. The tranquil setting casts a heady spell over a leisurely evening.Even a partial distraction by the somersaults elsewhere in the large space would not interfere with the meal or bar experience, except punctuated by the stars and ocean breeze.

At first glance, A Reverie is rather an antonym of being unassuming or understated with its structure & design concept that may not seem that coastal. But it is deliberately intended to root diners intoor be lost in “a reverie”. Uninterrupted views of the surrounding gazebo’s, serene garden mounds & slick contemporary yet theatrical décor which; are best enjoyed from the raised, panoramic lounge; while the restaurant is meant to mimic an amphitheater. Like its gastronomic vision, A Reverie’s design attempts to reflect the encounter between the traditional, contemporary & creative unpredictable elements. The setting at A Reverie is not a typical seaside experience; but rather a dreamscape in which every element has been carefully picked to attune your senses. From the hand-crafted artisanal floor tiles from a select craftsman to the peripheral jars kiln fired using old Goan techniques, we sustain traditional crafts and empower craftsmen to create bespoke pieces, the attention truly is in the detail.

We encourage ourselves to make an effort to explore the origin of everything we transform over fire. It's about coaxing the best flavour from the ingredients. It's also about paying a creative homage to the natural world. This often involves exploring obscure ingredients, and making original, daring marriages on the plate. Local ingredients are always a key to our cuisine; partnered with their complimentary flavours from across the globe, it offers a unique take on conventional thoughts.

However, we are ardent in our stance on giving back where we take from. We understand the throes of our impact on the land that sustains us and as such, we choose to receive from nature's bounties and not pillage them. Our cooking is rooted around the anchoring philosophy of ethical foraging and sustainable dining. Everytime we go back to the creative lab, these efforts are embodied in the creation of our dishes. Be it from utilizing local indegenous ingredients to ensure a small carbon footprint, to selecting multiple sources of produce to prevent over exploitation, our narrative can only be profound with the beauty of nature and we take utmost care not to taint it, and hope we can inspire the same through our dishes.
Lounge
The lounge of the restaurant provides a cohesion that few places can emulate. It is a vast universe of emotional connections, enriched with the feedback of proximity. A stage where it is possible to be intimately and profoundly lost in the art of intoxicology or if it suits one's fantasy, contrive to immerse yourself in the energy of the live performances across the vastness of space. The panoramic raised lounge is meant to mimic an amphitheater, a stage where artist and audience unite, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding gazebos, serene garden mounds and water bodies. The tiled high ceilings and elements of décor set the mysterious,exotic tone for a long dining excursion.

The airy space is redolent with discreet luxury but still lends a warm, inviting ambiance to all its guests, a certain calm laid back attitude that perfectly reflects the Goan Sussegad spirit which is a contented form of life existent in the state and the lounge at A Reverie is the epitome of physical embodiment of this state. The installations of palm tree leaves and the artwork of 'The Dreamer' reinforces the connection to this spirit symbolizing Goa's airy beaches and personifying the dreamlike state of the lounge.
